The Park Side Café
The Park Side Café
The Park Side Café is located in the center of Ueno Park. On the café menu are several pasta dishes, an open pork sandwich with garden vegetables, hamburger steak, beef stew, and 16 grain rice curry. The colorful desserts include apple tart with rhubarb jam, cheese cake, matcha chiffon cake, and Belgian waffles with ice cream, and they also serve a range of flavored teas. Starbucks operate a large coffee shop directly opposite the Park Side Café where you can find all your favorite latte and frappuccino beverages, as well as sandwiches, muffins and pastries. Here is a map of the location.

Ueno Seiyoken
Ueno Seiyoken
Ueno Seiyoken is a large building overlooking the Shinobazu Pond. There has been a Seiyoken restaurant serving French cuisine here since 1876, but the modern building houses two restaurants. Caferant Le Landaulet is a casual restaurant serving light meals of pasta, mixed sandwiches, hayashi rice, and beef stew, as well as tea and cake. Grill Fukushima is a more formal French restaurant serving set course meals. A lunch time course meal at Grill Fukushima will cost 3,800 yen. Here is a map showing its location.

Inshotei
Inshotei
Inshotei is a traditional Japanese restaurant serving high-grade kaiseki style multi-course meals. This restaurant was established here in 1875 and it is one of our top recommendations for dining in Ueno. The restaurant is located close to the entrance to Hanazono Inari Shrine. The Green Park building
Green Park
The Green Park building is located close to the southern entrance to the park. This building has two restaurants: the Italian restaurant Le Quattro Stagioni on the 1st floor and the Chinese restaurant Danhirouhanten on the 2nd floor. Both restaurants have English menus. Le Quattro Stagioni
Le Quattro Stagioni serves a range of classic pizzas along with spaghetti and tagliatelle dishes and appetizers such as strawberries and prosciutto salad, or mozzarella cheese with tomato.

Lunch: 11.30 – 15.00
Café: 15.00 – 17.00
Dinner: 17.00 – 21.00 (until 22.00 on Fridays)

Danhirouhanten
Danhirouhanten has a range of set meals for lunch and on the a la carte menu are such items as Peking duck, spring rolls in wine sauce, Shanghai style stewed pork spare ribs, spit grilled lamb with a spicy sauce.
